US – BIS amends existing Validated End-User authorizations

On April 19, 2013, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) published in the Federal Register a final rule [Docket No. 130322279-3279-01] amending the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to revise the existing Authorization Validated End-User (VEU) listing for CSMC Technologies Corporation (CSMC) in the People’s Republic of China (PRC). Specifically, BIS amended Supplement No. 7 to part 748 of the EAR to update VEU CSMC’s current list of “eligible destinations.”
